According the the world’s interpretation standard, there needs to be 2 interpreters in 1interpretation booth (3-4 interpreters for Japanese’s standard) to help in interpreting, taking turn or taking a break. It is essential to have at least 2 interpreters, especially in a long lecture or speech. Some important content of the conference might be missed if there’s only one interpreter in the booth and he needs to take a break. Therefore, to have at least 2 interpreters is the most important thing for such interpretation.
